I guess it's a good thing I made a linktree just yesterday:
I still plan to be active on dA, but between the NFT stuff and now the forced AI, it really feels like they want people to leave. Anyways, this year I have been mostly focused on client work, but this month I started doing art streams again. If you'd like to join someday, you have my twitch inside the link above.
Wishing you guys a good weekend to compensate for the AI news. What are your plans? If any mutuals plan to leave let me know so I can follow you somewhere else.
Please check them out!

For now I'm using Etsy to sell digital cross-stitch patterns of some of my previous pixel fanarts. After my injury back in Spring I decided I want to have some sources of passive income so I don't depend entirely on commission work, so for now I'm testing the waters with these.
I made the patterns by using a tool and comparing the threads with those I have at home, including different notes and suggestions for each pattern. I'll keep updating them as I notice anything worth mentioning, so I hope you have fun stitching them if you decided to buy any!
If not, it'd also help if you pass it to a friend who might.
Ko-Fi is more self explanatory as a donation tool, but you can also use it to order commissions! Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for reading :)
It's currently sitting at 228K views and I can't even register how big that number is. Thank you so, so much for the support. I've been on this site for 13 years already and seen many amazing DDs over the years, so it's incredible to somehow be among them. I put a lot of effort on this piece so I'm really happy that it has been this well received.
On a short note, I plan to open an Etsy shop during this month, so stay tuned for more info. If you like my pixel artworks you might enjoy what's coming next!
Hi everyone. I haven't been able to do anything art-related in the past week due to a hand injury. Since I don't know how long it'll take to recover, I decided to create a Ko-Fi in the meantime, so that from now on I can take in donations instead of depending solely on commissions. Feel free to check it out: https://ko-fi.com/pipasdefranilla
Of course, any donations are appreciated. I also listed some commissions examples for the future.
I made that Kingdom Hearts piece when I should have been resting, actually, but I didn't know it was that bad back then. Since both hands were damaged I can't do much these days besides watching Hunter X Hunter and browsing the web, if I want them to heal soon.
Before all this happened I was working on this treetops pixelart mockup. If everything goes well I might be able to get a short playable browser game out of it thanks to a friend, so I have been thinking about the level layout as well.
Other projects I had in mind for the following months:
*Keep going with the "pixelart characters of games I played" as they are a fast way to practice for me and everyone seems to like them.
*Drawing more Super Mario cards to get the full deck done.
*Do my part on a couple of collabs I joined on discord servers.
*Just drawing more non-pixelart stuff in general, be it fanart, my existing OCs or something new. Anything I do to improve my technique will probably make my portfolio look better after all.
*Continue helping Dim Collins by doing more sprite animations for Latka.
*Keep mailing around my portfolio so I can get more work as an illustrator or spriter.
*I also wanted to make an artist feature on dA since it's been long since the last one, and usually it's something that everyone appreciates.
But to keep going with all these projects and goals I need to make sure to rest properly so my hands and wrists can heal. It's been two weeks already so I'll admit I'm a bit worried, but I hope it all goes well. Thanks for reading up until here, everyone!
